The History of Marsil Alta Moda & Sposa, started in 1977 thanks to its owner Silvana and her over 15-year experience in the world of High Couture in contact with the great Capucci and most important French stylists. The historical company, founded around 40 years ago, and located next to Piazza di Spagna was soon successful in the Roman and international Haute Couture world, becoming a main point of reference for its style, its quality select Italian fabrics and its high standard manufacturing, 100% Made in Italy.
Towards the 90s besides the Collection of Haute Couture, represented by precious and exclusive evening dresses, Marsil decided to insert its Collection of haute Couture for Brides, creating some specific Lines for a sober and refined bride, offering hand-made gowns realized by experienced tailors, who had been working in the High Couture manufacturing sector for years and who were highly prepared to pay special attention to any realization detail so to meet requests by the most selected customers.
From 2000 Marsil has created its Bride Collection Prêt a Couture, for a more contemporary line, characterized by research in the design and originality in the fabrics, so to realize ready wedding dresses, light and ethereal in style. In addition, the strong passion and a long experience in tailoring brought the company to the realization of the Ceremony Dress Collection, for guests, damsels and bride-maids but also for special occasions, evenings and important events such as 18 year-old parties and cocktails.
To complete the whole there is our wide range of the accessories including shoes, underwear and veils, which has widely contributed to establish the Brand of Marsil in the world of weddings, widening our international influence through clientele coming from the whole world, as is the case of Saudi Arabia, Russia, America and Japan. Marsil is a brand Made in Italy and it has been recognizable for a long time in the world of fashion for its design and creativity, the quality of the Italian dress fabrics selected and for its refined and precious laces used in its creations. Not to mention the manufacturing skills of its highly qualified tailors and dressmakers and the care and professionalism of all the staff.
